Airworthiness & Aircraft Certification
In the aviation world, the design, the modification of design, the production, or the maintenance of an aeronautical product is subject to a very strict regulatory framework which is defined by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the respective territory. For example, a Design Organisation Approval (DOA) is required to develop and approve a change to a Type Certificate, e.g., change of cabin layout or upgrade of avionics. Whereas, a Production Organisation Approval (POA) is required to manufacture parts with Form 1.
If you are on your way to obtain an approval or even if you are already an approved organisation, LAMBDA AeroTech Consulting can support you in:
- Obtaining initial approval Part21/Part145/Part147 (preparation of handbook, definition of procedures, etc.) or support preparation for annual surveillance audit
- Coaching managers (Accountable Manager, Production Manager, Quality Manager, Head of Design, Head of Office of Airworthiness) for the CAA’s interview
- Providing initial and continued training for personnel
- Fulfilling the responsibilities of the Office of Airworthiness, Independent System Monitoring, Quality Assurance System and Safety Management System
- Providing Compliance Verification Engineering (CVE) in the disciplines: Electrical Systems, Avionics, Cabin Safety and Mechanics
